Overview

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Talent Acquisition Director to build and lead a high-performing team that attracts, engages, and retains exceptional talent. This individual will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s talent acquisition strategy across all functions and levels, including strategic recruiting, employer branding, internal mobility, temporary employee and intern management, and talent acquisition operations and analytics.

 

The ideal candidate is a proactive innovator who combines data-driven decision-making with a deep understanding of candidate and hiring manager experience. They will ensure our recruiting processes are efficient, inclusive, and scalable, and will play a critical role in building a workforce that reflects our values and drives our continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Recruiting:

    • Lead and participate in full-cycle recruiting for positions across our family of Viserion companies. Partner directly with hiring managers and executives to deeply understand hiring needs and ensure high-quality hires.
    • Create and execute strategies to attract top talent across all functions and geographies. Partner with leadership to understand talent needs and workforce planning.

     

    Employer Branding:

    • Develop and implement employer brand initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice, including career site content, social media presence, and talent marketing campaigns.

     

    Internal Mobility:

    • Create and promote programs to encourage and support internal career growth and mobility across departments and business units in partnership with the HR Business Partner team.

     

    Talent Acquisition Operations & Analytics:

    • Build and maintain scalable recruiting processes and systems. Own recruiting KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to drive accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

     

    Temp Management:

    • Oversee temporary workforce planning and vendor partnerships to ensure compliance, cost-efficiency, and quality.

     

    Intern and Trainee Programs:

    • In partnership with leaders, design and execute robust internship and trainee programs, including sourcing, onboarding, and conversion strategies.

     

    Pipeline Development:

    • Proactively build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through networking, partnerships, university relationships, talent pools, and outreach strategies.

     

    Budget Ownership:

    • Manage the talent acquisition budget, including tools, advertising, events, vendors, and internal team expenses.

     

    Process Improvement & Candidate Experience:

    • Continuously evaluate and streamline the recruiting lifecycle to reduce time-to-fill, improve quality of hire, and deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

     

    Team Leadership & Development:

    • Build, coach, and inspire a team of recruiters. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven experience designing and executing scalable recruiting programs.
  • Strong understanding of employer branding, sourcing strategies, and candidate engagement.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR technology platforms.
  • Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure success.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Passion for candidate experience and a commitment to creating an inclusive environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing organization.

Skills

  • Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or commodity-based industries.
  • Familiarity with campus recruiting and university relations.
  • Background in change management or HR transformation.

Physical Requirments

  • This job is primarily sedentary.
  • Occasional lifting may be required of up to 15lbs.
  • This role may require occasional travel.

Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
  • The employee may be exposed to very dusty and noisy conditions.
  • The employee may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
  • The employee may be exposed to chemicals used in the milling and manufacturing processes.

The salary range for this position is $120,000-$160,000/yr. 

 

The Company offers paid vacation time, paid sick leave, medical, dental and vision plans as well as a 401(k) with employer match.
