Sales Representative - Bulk/Dairy AZ

This position is responsible for profitable sales of bulk and sacked products and services provided by Western Milling's Buckeye, AZ plant. Interaction on a regular basis on customer operations is required. You are the visible ambassador for the business.

• Customer relations between plant operations and farm owner/influencer
• Communications with pricing personnel on a daily basis
• Create value to customers for products and services
• Prompt resolution to customer concerns
• Handle customer inventories, both bulk and bagged
• Place orders with plant in a timely manner to promote plant efficiency
• Keep management apprised of pertinent industry information heard in country
• Sell products which generate a profitable return for the business
  • You are a sales person not an order taker
  • Take a consultative approach with customers
• Follow through with customer A/R concerns
• Know and understand your competitors intimately
• Stay up to date on current industry trends and events
• Be available to your customers 24/7 via phone
• Maintain a focus on value added products, IE. calf feed & minerals
• Be entrepreneurial in your approach to sale opportunities

• BS degree in agriculture, animal or dairy science
• 3 years of on farm sales interaction

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written and presentation
• Proficient computer skills

• Strong work ethic and passion for sustainability of feed industry.
• Self-starter with strong foundation of honesty and integrity

• Ability to lift 60 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to sit for long periods of time in vehicle, potential for high miles travelled

• The employee will be regularly exposed to very dusty and noisy conditions
• The employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions
• The employee may be exposed to chemicals used in processing
