Field Service Tech

This position assists the sales team and growers to determine field application methods for fertilizer and pesticides.  

• Builds and installs equipment necessary for the grower to make field applications.
• Calibrates and maintains equipment for accurate application rates.
• Coordinates product deliveries based on rate acres and equipment to ensure adequate supply of product.
• Esnures that application method, equipment, and rate are within lavel recommendation and crop paramters.
• Performs necessary maintenance and repair on service equipment.
• Transports loaded fertilier tank trailers, as well as various other equipments, on highways, county and farm roads.
• Other work related duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Welding experience required.
• Class A CDL is a plus.
• Farming and/or application experience is required.
• Knowledge of farm equipment and cultural practices.

• Occasionally required to lift up to 100 lbs.

• This position travels extensively and may encounter various environmental factors associated with the climate/location they are in.

The pay range for this position is $20/hr to $30/hr.  The Company offers paid vacation time, paid sick leave, medical, dental and vision plans as well as a 401(k) with employer match.
