Overview

This position provides administrative and operations support to the Administrative Coordinator, in the Company’s Agribusiness Division. The position is also responsible for communication with all counterparties involved, including customers, vendors, and logistics providers.

Responsibilities

  • Administration
    • Assistance with AgVance including updates and maintenance.
    • Assist with daily data entry into AgVance to record inbound loads, transfers and blends.
    • Assist with computer programs to maintain purchases and sales.
    • Provide daily and monthly tonnage reports.
    • Aid in logistical support for commodity shipments by various means of shipment, including rail, truck, container or barge.
    • Assist in processing intercompany transactions.
    • Assist customers in resolving commodity, freight, and accounting inquiries.
    • Monitor and file JBS in-house laboratory reports.
  • Operations
    • Perform fats & oils sample analysis.
      • File analytical reports and alert management of material found out of specification.
    • Provide back-up for operations control for the fat blending and load out mixing system.
    • Assist with on-call support for Hanford terminal.
  • Other assignments as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General knowledge of accounting process and ability to reconcile information.
  • Minimum of one (1) years of relevant experience.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong oral/written and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, capable of working independently and with others.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Able to implement and drive efficient processes.
  • Possess excellent follow-up skills.
