  • Overview

    The Director, Supply and Demand Planning will play a critical role in helping us deliver on our aggressive growth plans, providing short and long term forecast plans and supporting the achievement of operational metrics related to inventory levels, fill rates, and lead time to customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Supports attainment of key operational metrics (fill rates, inventory levels, etc.)
    • Review current supply planning process and implement changes in processes and structure to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity
    • Optimize materials planning management through internal and external network planning, working with key stakeholders daily to achieve planned outcomes.
    • Champion S&OP by identifying and seeking improvement opportunities inclusive of new IT tools to monitor and forecast levels of demand
    • Set the metrics to measure forecasting and demand planning traceability and accuracy
    • Facilitates training sessions internally on Forecasting and Demand Planning ensuring stakeholders in the forecasting process possess the resources, skill sets and vision to address company’s needs
    • Responsibility for scheduling plant production runs.
    • Maximize value of inventory by utilizing/scheduling rework processing for highest value product consistent with sales requirements.
    • Develop and utilize forecasting reports, inventory reports and product and operational knowledge to ensure shippable product is available to meet customer demand.
    • Provide summary KPI reports with full analysis indicating trends, improvements and continued opportunities
    • Performs other duties as assigned. 

    Qualifications

    • BS/BA required, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations Management, Business Administration or equivalent field.
    • 10+ years’ recent demand planning experience with at least 4 years managing a developing a team.
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
