This position is responsible for stacking the bags of finished product onto pallets to be moved to the warehouse. Strict compliance with the facility Food Safety and Quality Management System Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions is required.
Properly hand stack bags of product in specified stacking patterns onto pallets. Examine and inspect bags in order to ensure that all packaging specifications are met. Remove completed or defective bags by placing them on the appropriate pallets.
Ensure bags are being coded and have the correct dates. Communicate with the operator about line speed and volume.
Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), comply with food safety practices, maintain good housekeeping and follow proper sanitation of area and equipment at all times.
Bring to the attention of the Production Supervisor any problems with equipment, issues with the product, or safety hazards.
Provide a high level of support to the next customer (person) in line.

Report any plant security breaches, attempts at product tampering or contamination, or other suspicious behavior observed to manager or supervisor.
